Naya is a quaint village which transforms into a walk-in art gallery during the POTMaya festival. Every house’s courtyard is adorned with beautiful pieces of art. One can go around the village admiring exquisite art work by individual artist, interacting with the artists and of course collecting original artworks made by the tradition bearers.
If you love to shop this is the place for you, there are traditional Patachitra scroll of various sizes, dupattas, sarees, tshirts, mugs, kitchenware, trays etc. There is also provision for a natural colour walk which is a walk around the village where on is shown the different plants and trees from which the artists derive natural colour like the famous Latkan tree from the fruit of which red colour is derived.
